We put the hops in Hoptown.

We love Hopkinsville:  It's a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family, but we think it's missing something: a community craft beer brewery. Breweries have a way of bringing together friends and neighbors. They serve as a destination for communities and an attraction for visitors.

Our Vision:  Hopkinsville Brewing Company will be established as the first craft beer brewery in the city's history. In addition to brewing excellent craft beer, we'll provide the community a destination: a space in which to relax, interact with friends, and enjoy the art and science of craft beer brewing. In addition to serving as a gathering place of the community, the brewery will attract craft beer enthusiasts from throughout the region and facilitate growth of the local commerce.

Our Concept: Hopkinsville Brewing Company will be a two-barrel nano-brewery located in Hopkinsville's Downtown Renaissance District. We'll distribute some of our offerings to local and not-so-local restaurants, but the rest will be served in our taproom. We won't serve food, but patrons will be encouraged to bring their own carry-out from local restaurants or purchase hot dogs, BBQ, or tacos (on a rotating basis) from a variety of mobile food vendors we've arranged right outside our door. We'll even have delivery menus available if you want to order in pizza, burgers, or food from local restaurants!

Our KICKSTARTER Campaign was wildly successful and renovations are continuing on our future home at 102 E 5th St. in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. We have permits, Architects, Engineers and Contractors and our Founders, Steve and Kate Irving are working tirelessly to open as soon as possible.

The demolition is complete. Our general contractor is done. The new concrete floor is in. The electrical and plumbing contractors are finishing up. The equipment is due for delivery in early June. Our Federal License is in process; when that's in place we can apply for the Kentucky license.

In the gallery below, you can watch our progress.

It all came together in September of 2016. The renovation was complete, the food trucks were scheduled and the beer was brewed. It was time to open. Our Kickstarter backers were first. What a party! Then we opened to the public and we have been overwhelmed by the support given to us by Hoptown (as the locals call Hopkinsville). Stop by for dinner and a pint with us.
